The following discounts are offered by the District:
Senior Discount (15%)
A 15% discount for citizens who are 65 or older, and who own and live in their residence for the entire fiscal year (July 1 through June 30).

Utility Billing Information
Current Sewer Fees:

Payment Schedules:
Our fiscal year runs from July 1st 2023 thru June 30th 2024.
South Suburban is currently on a quarterly payment schedule.
This means that our customers will receive their bill at the beginning of each quarter and the quarterly payment will be due at the end of each quarter.
For example: the bill that you receive in July will be due in September, the bill you receive in October will be due in December, the bill you receive in January will be due in March, and the bill you recieve in April will be due in June.
Penalties:
A penalty of 6% or $3.00, whichever is more, will be assessed at the end of each quarter if the minimum amount due has not been paid.
At the end of our fiscal year (June 30th) any accounts with unpaid fees of $10.00 or more will be subject to an additional 18% certification penalty, and will then have the deliquent fees added to their property taxes as a lien.
